Universal Wood Products (UWP) fully support the ideals and goals of the FSC body (Forest Stewardship Council). And as certified, UWP shall continue to support the basic principle of FSC.

That long-term timber supplies for all of the timber-derived products we all use every day shall not damage our environment.

UWP have invested a greatly in waste management that we now burn 80% of our wood waste, converting our prime waste (MDF dust) into heat and power that is related back into the factory complex.

UWP have ensured through independent surveys and inspection through certification compliance with all relevant factory/wood working legislation relating to health & safety.
